A scraper fabricated on a natural flake of mottled pale brown and grey flint with a single, small area of cream-coloured cortex remaining. There is some creamy-white recortification on one face. One edge of the flake has been worked using short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch to form a deep, concave scraping edge or large notch. The rest of the circumference of the flake has been worked using coarse, short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch to soften the sharp edges, presumably to make it more comfortable to use in the hand. This crude type of tool, utilising a natural flake, is typical of flint working during later Prehistory.
