A cast copper alloy domed thimble dating from the medieval period, AD 1350 - 1500. It has small circular indentations in vertical rows up the sides and scattered at random across the top with a small tonsure, though indentatins on the top could eb obscured by corrosion. There is a single narrow groove around the base. There are also three V shaped notches cut into the rim. The thimble has a smooth, dark green patina. It is 16mm in diameter and 15.6mm high. It weighs 3.95gm.
