A rim sherd from a large grey ware (GX) jar of probable Roman date. It has a micaceous sandy fabric with highly micaceous dark grey to black surfaces. This sherd measures 44.94mm in length, 70.34mm in width, 9.82mm in thickness (at wall, 19.22mm at rim), and 67.39g in weight. It is of probable Roman date, c.1st to 4th centuries AD.
