A cast copper-alloy strap fitting or loop of Post-Medieval date. It has a rectangular plate that is triangular in cross section, with a single integrally cast cylindrical rivet on the back face of the attachment end. At the opposite end the plate extends to an integral rectangular loop with central rectangular aperture. The entire object measures 23.12mm in length, 9.22mm in width, 8.26mm in thickness (including rivet), and 3.37g in weight. This is an incomplete hooked strap fitting or loop of Post-Medieval date with near identical parallels published by Read (2008: nos. 807-808). It is of probablce c.16th-17th century AD date.
