A fragment of a ceramic vessel of medieval date. Probable Brandsby-type ware c.AD 1275 - 1400, rin sherd. The fabric is an orangy/buff colour with a lighter cream-white outer margin and darker grey inner surface. The interior is glazed with an olive green glaze. The projecting rim is plain and narrow
The sherd is 47.2mm in length, 30.6mm wide, 12.2mm thick, and weighs 12.4g.
