A fragment of a ceramic vessel of medieval date, c.AD 1275 - 1500. The fragment is a handle from a Humber Ware vessel. The fabric is a hard-fired, gritty ware, pale orange at the exterior surfaces and slightly reduced to light grey at the core. Small patches of an olive-green glaze are present on the upper surface. Two longitudinal ridges adorn the upper part of the surface.

The vessel fragment is 92.9mm long, 34.7mm wide, 18.4mm thick and weighs 54.9g.
