A sherd of a ceramic vessel of medieval date, c.AD 1250-1550. The fabric is hard fired, reduced to grey at the core and interior, oxidised to buff-orange at the surface. Frequent black grit inclusions well sorted throughout the fabric.
The vessel fragment is 36.2mm long, 31.2mm wide, 8.8mm thick and weighs 12.3g.
