A silver penny of Edward I class 10cf2a or a Edward II penny of class 11b2 (based on the incurved I in VILL), Bury St Edmunds mint. Reverse: VILLA (S)[CI EDMVNDI]; long cross dividing legend, three pellets in each quarter.

The coin can be dated to either AD 1306-07 or c. AD1312-14.
