Copper alloy hooked tag. Cast openwork flat plate of circular form with a rectangular top loop and a short collared backward-pointing sharp hook, Read Class E Type 3. The plate has a central disc bearing faint rays with a curvilinear frame around it, with spaces between the two; there is also a central aperture in the plate. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.

Notes:
From a bag marked '67 hooked tags' containing individually bagged items and groups; possibly an intrusion from the related Carlile Collection I acquired by NLM: Dr Kevin Leahy reports he counted elements of that group as a summary survey of its range.
