A complete silver hammered long-cross penny of Henry III, dating c. 1250-1256. Class 5c, mint of London, moneyer RICARD. The coins is preserved in extremely good condition, with little wear to the obverse or reverse faces. However, it demonstrates signs of double-striking (especially on the obverse) where the coin shifted in the die during striking. C.f North no. 993.
