Grey flint knife. Narrow flake with a long flake struck from its dorsal side and with a flat and slightly rippled ventral surface. Invasive angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows one long edge and round the wider end with shorter abrupt retouch following the opposite long edge and carried up to the other, slightly narrower, end; this side is battered. The retouch approached the production of a plano-convex section though the slight hollowing of the upper or dorsal surface would improve grip while the abrupt retouch may have permitted pressure to be brought to bear on the back of the knife when in use. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC.
