Both surfaces of the object have a raised motif, the obverse in the form of initials IS [S retrograde], the reverse in the form of a raised geometric pattern of seven radiating oval lines with a single raised central pellet to cream a flower.
The metal is light cream in colour with a smooth and uncorroded patina.
Diameter: 17.71mm, Thickness: 2.91mm, Weight: 3.4g.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely
