A complete flint worked flake of Mesolithic date (9000-3450BC). The lithic is sub rectangular in plan and plano in section. The dorsal surface contains four predominant negative scars with corresponding arises. The distal edge contains semi abrupt retouch. The proximal, left and right hand edges have been abruptly blunted. The ventral surface is predominantly smooth with some shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
The flint is a light grey in colour with cream inclusions.
