A wall sherd of a ceramic vessel of Medieval date. It is 71.9mm tall, 65mm wide and 12.4mm thick. 77.36g. The fabric is hard and laminated to irregular. It has frequent, fairly well sorted grit, quartz and some black iron ore inclusions in a pale grey matrix fading to dark pink / orange on the surfaces. Both faces are splashed and speckled with a yellow grey glaze.
