Copper alloy mount. Cast rectangular bar mount of rounded sub-rectangular section and bevelled ends with a rivet of diameter 1.3mm and length 3mm towards either end. A drilled hole of diameter 1.8mm, countersunk behind to a diameter of 1.7mm, appears between the fixing points. Suggested date: Medieval, 1270-1350.
