A small fragment of a cast copper alloy turned vessel of probable late medieval to post medieval date (1400 - 1650). The fragmnet consists of part of the rim and small section of the sidewall. Due to the fragmentary nature of the find the diameter of the vessel cannot be suggested, based on the external edge a possible diameter of 16cm is suggested although the extant edge represents less than 9% of the circumference. Both the upper and lower edges of the rim have incised compas like / turned rings. The vessel fragments are a mid green colour with a coroded surface patina.
The fragments measures 14.1mm length, 41.6mm width, is 2.1mm thick at rim and 1.1mm thick body; it weighs 5.54 grams.
