Copper alloy strap end. Composite strap end comprising two sub-rectangular slightly tapered plates of thickness 0.5mm with a spacer plate between them. The narrower outer rounded end is adorned by a trefoil. A saltire is finely incised at the inner end of the display face with a pair of incised lines beyond it; further decoration may have been lost to wear. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1400.
