Copper alloy mount. Cast discoid concavo-convex mount with a plain front and with two integrally cast prongs of length c.10mm projecting from the back. The prongs have both been bent against the back of the mount and this may have been to facilitate attachment or use as a button. A black coating appears on the display face, and also on the back. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1650-1750.
