A flint flake, possibly a blade, of Neolithic or Early Bronze Age period dating to 3500-800 BC. The flake is elongated shape and exhibits two negative flake scars on the dorsal surface, separated by a central rib. It has been struck from a secondary flake and retains about 5% of the original cortex. The striking platform is broadly triangular shape and on the ventral face is a lower bulb of percussion, indicative of soft hammer working. On the mesals are some traces of short, scaled and semi-abrupt retouch.
The flake is semi-translucent mottlet grey with off-white inclusions. The flake measures 48.21mm in length, 29.25mm in width, 9.43mm in thick and weighs12.03g.
