Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, Length 29mm. width 21mm, thickness 9mm, weight 9grams. The brooch is very worn and missing its spring and lower bow and catchplate. It has short solid circular cross sectioned wings, with a recessed pin. These sit above stepped angular shoulders. Its bow has a flat upper surface with a raised rectangular section sitting abiove a very worn head stud?
