An incomplete cast lead post-medieval mount, dating to the period AD c.1500-c.1700. The mount is flat and was originally circular in plan, but the edge is folded over in two places, creating a rough triangular shape. The upper face is decorated with two vertically placed triangular grooves, each containing a raised disc surrounded by small raised pellets, possibly as a sun or flower design, and the traces of a crown design. The upper face has an abraded hatched border. At the lower edge the mount is pierced with two holes. There are two stumps on the reverse, indicating where the attachment would have been. The object is a greyish-white colour. Overall the object measures 32.66mm long, 24.66mm wide and 7.81mm thick. It weighs 13.64g.
