An incomplete copper alloy mount of Roman date, c.AD 43 - 200. The mount is circular with a raised rim and is quartered by an integral cross of metal. The four resulting sub-triangular recessed cells retain traces of enamel, two yellow and two red, alternating. The reverse is undecorated with the remains of broken and worn attachment shank.

The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The mount is 17.7mm in diameter, 7.3mm thick and weighs 6.6g.
