A hammered silver penny, probably of Edward III, 1327 - 77 AD. The obverse has the portrait bust facing with a cross type 3 initial mark, which would date the coin to AD 1354-5. The reverse the long cross with three pellets to each quadrant. The coin is badly bent and worn with very limited legend.
