Two body sherds of glazed pottery.One showing underglaze decoration.

The fragments measure.:

1: 25.1mm in length, 13.7mm width, 4.0mm thick and weighs 2 gram.

2.: 16.5mm in length, 9.3mm width, 3.0mm thick and weighs 1 gram.

Sherd specific details:

Fabric Type: Modern Earthernware Worcestershire Fabric Type 91.

Fabric Condition: A hard fabric

Firing Condition:

1. has a light brown gloss glazed exterior and interior and a buff coloured body.

2. has a white glazed exterior with blue underglazed decoration; the interior has white glaze and the body is buff coloured.

Inclusions Fine mica..

Surface Texture: Smooth where glazed. Number 1 shows badly chipped / laminated glaze.

Glaze: white

Decoration; Number 2 has an under glazed blue border.

Condition of sherds: Lightly abraded and chipped glaze..

Class: Worcestershire Earthernware Fabric 91.
