A Medieval silver coin; a cut half short cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), probably Class 7 dating from AD 1214 - 1242. It was struck at London. It is 17.7mm long, 8.5mm wide and 0.8mm thick. 0.63g. See North number 978 - 980 on page 222 - 223 of Volume I (1994).
