A silver Iron Age coin; an uninscribed North Eastern (Corieltauvi) silver unit, South Ferriby Daisy type, phase 6, circa 50 - 10 BC. Compare ABC 1806. The coin is 15.6mm diameter, 1.7mm thick, 1.07g. Part of the edge (including the head of the horse) is missing owing to edge chips. The flan is dished. Only vestigal traces of the design survive on the obverse. The coin could also be a silver half unit, similar to ABC 1833 (Allen ZA type).
