Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook brooch with the spring and pin missing. Mackreth 2011, CD RH 4. The wings are decorated with an oblique groove between two vertical grooves and the D-sectioned bow with a median pair of grooves with knurling between them. The catchplate is solid. Wingspan 21.5mm. Length 44.5mm. c.43 - c.65.
