Incomplete medieval copper alloy buckle with"two loops and an integral plate between", cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 488, iron examples nos. 489-96 and Whitehead 2003, nos. 207-8. Only one loop survives. It is oval with a straight outside edge which does not protrude at the sides. There is one rivet hole and the break truncates a second. Extant length 33.5mm. Width of loop 22mm, of plate 14.3mm. 13th - 14th century.
