A fragment of a copper-alloy vessel of uncertain date. The object comprises an approximately rectangular sheet which tapers slightly towards one end. The long edges of the sheet, although damaged appear to be original and therefore it appears that the object does not represent a piece cut from a larger copper-alloy vessel. The upper surface of the object is decorated with two parallel incised grooves. The lower surface possesses a more deeply incised and wider groove. The object measures 72mm in length, 15mm in width and 3mm in thickness. It weighs 10.6g.
