Silver coin. Voided long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272), probably Canterbury mint class 3a issue of 1248-1250.

Obverse description: Facing bust no sceptre, hair [right] of two neat curls and pellets, pointed beard of two rows of pellets.

Obverse inscription: (---)CVS REX(---), composite R with wedge foot.

Reverse description: Voided long cross, three pellets in each angle.

Reverse inscription: GIL(---/---)ANT
