Copper alloy medieval to post medieval vessel leg. From a top transverse break the 49mm long leg tapers from 25mm width to 18mm at the base, where a small curved foot turns outwards. The surface shows extensive sooting. The modest size of the leg suggests it is more likely from a skillet or ewer than a cauldron. Circa 1200 to 1650 AD.
