A complete but worn copper alloy Iron Age unit of the North Thames region, uninscribed issue of an unknown ruler dating from c. 60-40 BC. Possibly an early issue of the Trinovantes. Cottam et al.'s (2010:117) 'Essex Stag' type, ABC 2312. This is the first coin of its type recorded with the PAS. It is a rare issue. BMC 403/407.
