Roman, or Iron Age penannular brooch fragment, ring round sectioned, tapering from 3.7mm to 2.4mm diameter with an oblate, 7.5 x 6.2mm. Beneath the head is single, transverse moulding. These brooches are difficult to date and this find could date from Iron Age to the Roman period. Diameter c. 37.8mm, Mass 3.81g.
