A silver Medieval coin; a voided long cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), Class Va1 minted by Ian at Bury St Edmunds and dating from AD 1251 - 1272. See North (1994) Volume II, number 991/1 on page 226. The coin is 17.9mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 1.10g. It is cracked and stressed.
