Silver buckle pin. Neatly cast tapered rectangular section pin with an oval loop and an adjacent stop at one end, and a point at the other. The loop has been closed by bending around the frame [lost], which must imply that the frame itself has been broken to permit it to become detached. Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1500. In view of the suspected material, this object is to be submitted to the Treasure process as an addendum to a series of objects from the Carlile Collection [part 2] reported in 2013, reference 2016 T499.
