Copper alloy buckle pin. Cast straight buckle pin with a rectangular grip with four deep grooves cut across it at a thickened part immediately adjacent to a broken loop. The point of the pin is hollowed beneath to rest snugly against the outer edge of the frame. Suggested date: Medieval, 1270-1350.
