Incomplete post-medieval shoe buckle with most of the iron pin and of the iron stud missing. The copper alloy frame is sub-rectangular and quite plain. Part of the front face of the chape is obscured by rust from the pin and spindle. Cf. Whitehead 2003, no. 663. Overall length 27.2mm. Frame length and width 20.7 and 17.2mm. c.1690 - c.1720.
