A cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. It is hemispherical in form, undecorated, with flat back and rounded front face. At the centre of the whorl is a large circular aperture. The entire object measures 22.78mm in diameter, 5.80mm in thickness, and 14.80g in weight. It may be of any date from the Roman period onward, with a Medieval or later date perhaps most plausible.
