A fragment of a copper alloy medieval or post-medieval vessel (AD c.1200-c.1700), consisting of the leg and foot. The leg is triangular in cross-section. the top surface is sloped and slightly concave as this formed part of the inner surface of the vessel. The foot of the leg has three triangular toes that project forwards from the base of the foot, which is slightly sloped as well. As a result the leg stands at about 100 degrees. The object has a light brown patina, with patches of green corrosion product where the patina has come away. Parts of the surface are blackened with soot. Overall, the fragment measures 52.4mm high, 30.5mm wide and 37.9mm thick. It weighs 106.27g.
