An incomplete copper-alloy composite strap end of Medieval date. One plate survives, any spacer and second plate now missing due to old breaks. It is rectangular in form, tapering towards a triangular terminal end. At the centre of the attachment end is a single circular rivet hole. One face of the plate has extensive file marks and an added white metal coating, possibly solder. It measures 36.75mm in length, 15.87mm in width, 0.51mm in thickness, and 1.63g in weight. This strap end is of Medieval date, c.14th-15th centuries AD.
