A silver Elizabeth I penny, sixth issue with escallop initial mark which dates to coin to AD 1584-1586. Mint of London. Reverse has square-topped shield on long cross fourchée. There is no date or rose on this issue. North N2017. The coin is in fair condition with an irregular flan and a significant split at the 2 o-clock from the obverse side.
