A fragment from the foot of a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel of Medieval or later date. The base of the leg is rectangular in form, triangular in cross section, flaring at the base to a flattened triangular foot with projecting toes. All surfaces have the remains of relatively thick black sooting resultant from exposure to high temperatures. This fragment measures 42.73mm in length, 32.38mm in width, 11.49mm in thickness, and 48.14g in weight. It is of probable later Medieval to early Post-Medieval date, c.14th-16th centuries AD.
