A cast copper alloy belt mount dating to the medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is a hollow convex pointed oval mount. On the rear of the object is the stub of an integral spike for attachment. The spike is square in cross-section. The upper surface is undecorated. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition. The outer face has been coated in a white metal, probably tin.
