Copper alloy strap end. A pair of straight sided plates of thickness 0.6mm meeting at a rounded terminal with a protruding point. A rivet of diameter 1.8mm and length 1.5mm secures the plates at the terminal, with another lost from a fixing hole of similar diameter towards the belt end. Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1400.
