A fragment of a black glass vessel of probable Early-Medieval date. The fragment is roughly ovate with breaks to all edges and a curved profile. The exterior surface of the fragment is undecorated. The interior surfaces has a slightly raised central peak from around which a spiral of greyish-white decoration emanates.
The fragment is 34.6mm long, 23.6mm wide, 6.7mm thick and weighs 7.2g.
