A flint scraper of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c.2700 - 1600BC). It has been struck off a secondary flake, with less than 5% cortex remaining along one mesal edge. The dorsal face exhibits one negative flake scar from perevious flake removal. One of the mesal edges, exhibits short, sub- parallel semi-abrupt retouch. The scraper has a large striking platform. The ventral face exhibits a high bulb of percussion and radiating conchoidal ripple marks.
The flint is dark brown in colour with light brown speckled inclsuions.
It is 29.09mm in length with a width of 25.38mm , and a maximum thickness of 7.53mm which tapers to 4.74mm. It weighs 7.77g
