A copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount of medieval date, probably AD 1200 - 1400. It is a horizontal bar mount with a convex front and it is broken into two piece as well as being incomplete. At the end is a double moulded transverse bar and then a rounded area containing the rivet hole. The orunded area is decorated with radiating incised lines. This is surmounted by a elongated pionted knop at the end. The hinge to suspend the harness pendant descends from the centre of the bar, but is broken before the lugs, and only one loop of the double hinge survives. The reverse is slightly concave. The metal has a well developed mid green patina. It is 45.9mm long, 16.4mm wide and 2.8mm thick. 4.59g. Compare WAW-4B9032 which gives references, and SWYOR-9F55B2.
