A Post Medieval Copper alloy token
Obverse: A Druid's head, facing left, surrounded by laurel wreaths.
Reverse: The legend reads "THE ANGLESEY MINES HALF PENNY" with the year "1788". In the centre is a stylised PMC, which stands for Parys Mining Company.
The side has a few letters that are mostly illegible. A few words like "paya" and "London" are visible. Another record (BERK-4D7838) states that this reads "Payable in London, Bristol & Lancaster".
