Copper alloy spoon fragment. Small cast spoon with a broad bowl, a stem widened into angular shoulders above the bowl, and narrowing as a rectangular section stem thereafter. The end of the stem offers no significant support where it meets the bowl, though a pointed form is apparent on the underside of the bowl. The bowl has been flattened, so an item of cutlery may have been modified as an improvised tool. Most of the bowl and much of the handle are lost. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
