A sherd of a Bronze Age or Iron Age vessel. The sherd comes from the body of the vessel. The fabric is hard and very coarse. It is tempered with plentiful burnt flint (<2mm), frequent fine quartz sand (<0.5mm) and occasional mica. The outer surface is an oxidised red colour and both the inner surface and core are a darker brown.
